Things To Do in Fairfax County

When you have the only National Park in the United States dedicated solely to the performing arts, you better believe great things are always happening there. Wolf Trap is known as the place "where the stars come out to play" because there are quality performances by nationally known artists, and up and coming superstars, all the time. The Fairfax County Park Authority, and the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, both place an emphasis on events that will educate and entertain visitors coming to their amazing parks.

George Mason's Center for the Arts is another favorite of visitors coming to the area who want to experience high quality music and events of all kinds. Also located in Fairfax County is the George Mason Patriot Center. This multipurpose facility plays host to various athletic, musical, and other types of events year-round as well.

Where Fairfax County's "eventful" charm really kicks in is when you attend a signature experience available only at one of our county exclusive locations. Our attractions are hosting events all the time, engaging visitors with a particular style of entertainment that only they can produce. Annual events like Celebrate Fairfax, held at the county's government center each summer, and the Chocolate Lovers Festival in the charming City of Fairfax, bring forth festive cheer year after year and leave visitors wanting more.
